The Riffle Sample Divider works on the principle of dividing a sample into two equal and representative halves using a series of alternating chutes.
The sample is poured evenly over the top of the divider. The material flows through the alternating chutes and is collected in two separate pans placed below.
Each pan receives an equal and representative portion of the original sample. The process can be repeated to reduce the sample size further while maintaining its representative nature for accurate laboratory testing.
