Cube Moulds are used to cast concrete cube specimens of standard dimensions. Fresh concrete is filled in the mould in layers and compacted properly to remove air voids.
After casting, the cube is allowed to cure for the specified period. The hardened cube is then removed and tested in a compression testing machine to determine its compressive strength.
The moulds are manufactured with accurate internal dimensions and leak-proof joints to ensure proper shape and size of the test specimen.
